Are things moving at lightning speed for you too?

The older I get, the faster time goes by. Has anyone else noticed this? When I was in high school and college, it seemed that it took forever for those few weeks til spring break to pass. Nowadays, it seems like the days just fly by! What is bad about time passing so quickly is that the things that are really important, like watching your kids grow up, flies by so fast--not to mention the fact that you start getting forgetful!

Ellie is just so amazing to me! It seems like just in the last few days she has matured so much. Not as much fit throwing, more sentences and phrases, following directions and minding mommy better. It is fun to see the changes, but it is frightening because I've almost forgotten what it was like when she a baby. Maybe I am being overly sentimental because I'm REALLY pregnant and about to have my second, but it's hard to know that you've forgotten things that you though you would remember forever. I feel very guilty for not remembering everything about her short life, but I know that it is impossible. I guess this part of the price that we have to pay for getting to be a mom...tons of smiles, laughs, cries, and fits, but not remebering all of them.

I hear you completely. I remember the day that I had Kinsey - I looked over at Kimmy and all of a sudden she looked so BIG! I guess because Kinsey was so small. It did make me sad, but I loved watching Kimmy be a big sister, too. Being a mommy is hard:)

I agree, time flies! It's been 3 months since we've seen you...it doesn't seem like that long, but when I see that picture of Ellie, I want to cry! She has grown up so much! We love you. :) How is the nursery coming along? I hear that Wes painted this weekend....

hi amanda! Celia told me that you had the same thing I did...apparently alot of pregnant women develop gallstones. I know of 3 others besides you and me.

glad the second pregnancy is going well, and I'm glad my chance of heartburn is at least lowered without my gallbladder!! :-)

I am doing great. feeling much better, and basically 100%. I can't complain.

I understand how you feel. I try so hard to keep a little journal by my chair so that when I sit down at night I can journal some of the cute things that they say and do. It's good for the soul to sit down and read it every now and then! It reminds me how precious they really are!
